LOCAL SHIPPING RATES

Our rates include a handling, materials, insurance (where applicable) and postage/delivery fee. We offer various rates of shipping based on the total value of your order. These rates are irrespective of the size, weight or quantity of items you order. So the more items you order the cheaper it is for you!

Please select the appropriate shipping method when you place your order. Incorrect shipping selections WILL delay your order and WILL incur additional costs which will be for your account.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING COSTS
Certain products will not necessarily be able to be shipped at the below base rates.  Heavier and/or larger items (such as certain speaker systems) may attract extra costs in addition to the normal shipping costs. Additional theft prevention insurance of up to R20 may be added to the above amounts for certain expensive items such as MP3 players and remote controls. These costs will be shown at checkout.

SHIPPING METHOD

Gadget Mania uses Speed Services, the SA Post Office or Berco Couriers to ship your parcels nationwide to you. Together with iGear, we have shipped way over 7,000 parcels since January 2006 and not a single one has gone astray. In fact the largest problem we have is customers giving us the incorrect shipping addresses/postal codes or failing to collect their items at the post office when delivered. An option is provided at checkout for selecting delivery methods.

You may not cancel an order after it has been shipped and/or proof of the tracking details has been mailed to you. Should you attempt to cancel an order we will report you to the relevant credit bureaux within South Africa and also blacklist you from further purchases on our website.

VIA POST OFFICE / SPEED SERVICES
Shipping with the post-office and Speed Services is counter-to-counter with tracking numbers. This means the items are shipped to your nearest Post Office where you must go and collect your item with your ID document. You select the destination post office (shipping address) at time of placing your order. Your tracking number is emailed to you once the item has been shipped from our warehouse. For queries on the shipping status of your orders, please email sales(at)gadgetmania.co.za.

We cannot accept responsibility for orders shipped via SA Post Office that are held up at their depots for any reason what so ever. We will however attempt to assist you where we can in tracking a parcel as far as possible. Please be aware that once the parcel has been scanned into the Post Office system the responsibility to track and recieve this parcel is up to the clinet. Delays are, however, the absolute exception according to our experience and shipping via this method is the most cost effective soltution.

VIA COURIER
This method ships the items directly to your door and is available for major metropole areas such as Johannesburg, Pretoria, George, Knysna, Cape Town, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and East London. This method sometimes doesn't ship any faster than the post office - it merely ships to your door as opposed to your nearest post office. Only complete (in stock) orders are available for shipping via this method - we cannot part-ship with courier.

DELIVERY TIMES

Our delivery times depend on availability of stock and clearance of your payment. Most items are in stock (unless sometimes specified on the product description) and in this case you will receive your goods 3-4 days (bank transfer) or 3-5 days (credit card) after order placement. This is also dependent on shipping method.

We will confirm your order within 24 hours of receipt. If items are out of stock it can take up to 15 working days to receive your order. Upon confirmation of your order you will be provided with an estimated ship date. Should there be a delay with regard to your delivery, you will be notified in email from the Gadget Mania team. We may elect to part-ship portions of your order at our discretion and at no additional cost to you. Please note that the part shipment will be shipped using normal parcel post.

Returns are shipped back strictly using the Post Office parcel service. In the case of the item not been faulty it will be shipped back at your cost.

You will be provided with a notifiction and tracking number once your item has shipped. You can check the status of your order at any time by clicking on the link provided with your original order confirmation. To confirm stock levels you can email us at sales(at)gadgetmania.co.za, phone us (but the phones are almost always engaged).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES

- Any order placed - R475-00. Please note this is via Speed Services only. If you wish to use your courier, please email us at sales(at)gadgetmania.co.za so that we can assist you with collection addresses etc.

Please select the appropriate shipping method when you place your order. Incorrect shipping selections may delay your order. Note we only accept bank transfers for international orders.

EXCLUSIONS

- We do not do collections at our premises under any circumstances.
- We do not accept credit cards for international orders.
- We do not accept responsibility for incorrectly provided shipping addresses
- GadgetMania coupons and vouchers cannot be applied toward reduced shipping rates.
- Due to the nature of our shipping methods, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
